SEASON 2: Vampires

In Season 2, we do a deep dive into the early film history of those blood suckers we all love! Before we get into actual films, we start by exploring where the vampire comes from by looking at influences from mythology and literature. After a brief discussion of early film vampire experimentations, we analyze some great early vampire films, how they were made, and who made them: Murnau's Nosferatu  (Germany, 1922), Universal's Dracula (USA, 1931), Dreyer's Vampyr (Germany, 1932), and many others!
